In Eastern Turkey there is an underground city filled with ammunition.

Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan said on Thursday, may 18, on the South-East and East of Turkey, where he leads a multi-year struggle of the banned Kurdistan workers ‘ party, there are underground cities and caves full of ammunition, reports Reuters, reports “RBC-Ukraine”.

“Currently, the mountains in the South-East and East (Turkey. – Ed.) filled with caves and underground cities, filled with ammunition,” – said the President of Turkey.

Erdogan also noted that Turkey can not cancel the state of emergency imposed after the failed coup in July last year, while the country will not be “completely calm”.

“We can’t cancel the state of emergency until things reach peace and prosperity,” said Erdogan.
