Poroshenko meeting with trump: Gryshchenko says – the conversation will be tough

The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko should tune in rigid conversation with his us counterpart Donald trump. This was stated by the former Minister of foreign Affairs Konstantin Grishchenko on air of TV channel NewsOne.

“First of all, we need to expect a tough conversation. This will involve all issues of interest to both Ukraine and the United States. This effective use of aid, probably, its expansion,” the diplomat said and stressed that the trump will raise issues of corruption in Ukraine

At the same time, Gryshchenko believes that in the United States, Ukraine can count on support.

“However can you expect from this conversation and a positive outcome, as the impact will be quite substantial. Trump is a straight man, and especially not to worry about the selection of words. There is also a positive tone and in Congress concerning the support of Ukraine as a state that needs assistance,” he added.

Recall that the meeting Poroshenko and trump will be held on Thursday, September 21, in the framework of their participation in the 72nd session of the UN General Assembly in new York.
