Moscow with the help of the UN peacekeeping mission in the Donbas is committed to the recognition and legalization it supports terrorists in the occupied territories. This was stated in an interview with “UKRINFORM” the Minister of foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin.
“This is the expected manipulation, which primarily lies in the fact that Russia is committed to the recognition that it has supported terrorists in the occupied part of Donbass. This is an empty attempt to translate the entire peace process in some kind of virtual reality. And beat all what we have achieved during this time with the help of our partners,” – said the Minister.
According to him, the conditions of the Kremlin with the deployment of peacekeepers not only on the demarcation line and the denial of access to the said intention to freeze the conflict.
“This is the real way to freeze the situation that is. That is, there are Russia’s desire to legalize its colony, a protectorate in the occupied part of Donbass”, – said Klimkin.

He also sharply criticized the conditions of the Kremlin in the Donbas.
“Moreover, I see this and part of a kind of political schizophrenia. Moscow supposedly declared the desire to help the OSCE SMM mission. But how? Placing peacekeepers along the line of demarcation! This, on the contrary, will only complicate the work of the SMM because it is impossible to have two missions with different territorial mandate. It’s so crazy that at the same time funny and sad…” – said the Minister.
Recall, September 5, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that he supports the presence of UN peacekeepers in the Donbass, and called a number of conditions which have already sharply criticized in Ukraine.
As was stated by the permanent representative of Ukraine to the United Nations Volodymyr Yelchenko, the UN peacekeeping mission in the case of the introduction in the Donbass should be located on the Russian-Ukrainian borderand the participation of representatives of Russia excluded.
