Belarusians met Lukashenko in Kiev posters with Putin

Belarusian activists staged a picket near the presidential Administration on the eve of the visit to Ukraine of President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, reports the Belarusian service of “Radio Liberty”.

It is reported that on Bankova street near the presidential Administration of Ukraine, the Belarusian community of Kiev, together with the volunteers hold a picket.

The picketers are holding posters with the image of the Russian leader Vladimir Putin and Alexander Lukashenko, which reads: “Two of a kind”.

In addition, the activists raised a poster with a portrait of the Belarusian volunteer Taras Avatarov, who was convicted in Belarus for participation in the war in the Donbass on the Ukrainian side, with the words: “Freedom to political prisoners”.

We will remind, on may 5 the court of the Frunzenski district of Minsk sentenced the citizen of Belarus Taras Avatarov, who took part in the fighting in the East of Ukraine, to five years imprisonment.
