Hollande has promised that the process of transition of power to the Macron will be “simple and friendly”

Outgoing French President Francois Hollande said that he would do everything for a successful process of transfer of power to the elected head of state to Emmanuel Macron. This is reported by the French media.

“I advocate that my country was successful, and I want Emmanuel macron was able to succeed in the post with which he was entrusted,” – said Hollande.

According to him, he “will do everything to make (the transition of power – Ed.) was simple, clear and friendly.”

“I don’t give the power of a political enemy, and it makes the process much more simple,” said the outgoing head of state.

He also said that he did not intend to comment on the first decisions and actions of elected President of Macron.

“We need to let the President make decisions and take responsibility for them, I don’t mean to sound like a counselor, a mentor or, even worse, a person who interferes in other people’s business,” – said Hollande.

Transfer of powers of the head of state elected President of France, Macron will be held in Paris on 14 may.
