Despite the pause in the meetings of the “Normandy four” summit (the leaders of Ukraine, Germany, France, Russia) due to the upcoming elections in France and Germany, meetings of representatives of all four countries will be held this summer, believes the permanent representative of Ukraine to the Council of Europe Dmitry Kuleba.
“Contacts at all levels will continue to be implemented,” – said Kuleba in the air “channel 5” on Thursday evening, responding to a question about the summer pause in the work of the Minsk and Normandy formats because of the elections in Germany and France.
“If we are talking about the pause in the meeting channel four at the top level – the level of heads of governments and States, probably, the pause will be associated at least with the fact that now in France, come to power a new President. But I’m sure that the Normandy format will continue to work, because it’s pretty multi-level mechanism and contacts will be supported,” he added.
