Poroshenko and Lukashenko will go to Chernobyl

The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko will meet with President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko on Wednesday, April 26.

The two heads of state will participate in events in connection with the anniversary of the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, the press service of the Ukrainian President.

The leaders of the countries will jointly honor the memory of victims of the Chernobyl disaster and will visit a number of facilities at Chernobyl.

Petro Poroshenko and Alexander Lukashenko will hold negotiations in Belarus.

Recall, 26 April marks 31 years since the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. Within a radius of 30-mile radius from the station were evacuated more than 115 thousand people. In the aftermath of the Chernobyl accident was attended by more than 600 thousand people.
