The author of the portrait of the Queen of Britain is Chris Lewin, who is considered the pioneer of light art. It is noteworthy that a preliminary assessment of his portrait of Queen Elizabeth II was much less than the final transaction amount – from £50 thousand to £80 million, but in the end the work went for £187
It is noted that during the photo shoot, the Queen asked to sit for eight seconds for each frame. Between shooting Elizabeth II turned a blind eye to rest. While Levin was so impressed by the meditative state of the Queen, he captured his picture.
