Poroshenko posthumously awards Colonel of the SBU, who died in Mariupol

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko was posthumously awarded the Colonel of the security Service Alexander Kharaberyush, the press service of the head of state.

It is reported that the President signed a decree on awarding Kharaberyush, who died in Mariupol in the car explosion, the order “For courage”.

“For personal courage and high professionalism demonstrated while defending state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, selfless service to the Ukrainian people, I decree to award the order “For courage” of III degree Kharaberyush Colonel Alexander Ivanovich (posthumously)”, – stated in the decree of the President.

The corresponding decree was signed on 1 April.

We will remind, on March 31 in the center of Mariupol blew up a car with the officer of the security Service of Ukraine.

As later told Prosecutor General Yury Lutsenko, a Colonel during the explosion lost both legs and died from blood loss.
