Klympush-Tsintsadze commented on the possible lifting of sanctions against Russia

The lifting of sanctions against Russia will be a big mistake of the West without the fulfillment of Moscow’s commitments under the Minsk agreements. This was stated on air of TV channel “112 Ukraine” Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic integration of Ukraine Ivanna klympush-Tsintsadze.

She expressed hope that Western countries, taking a decision, making a threat to its national interests.

“Every six months when I conducted the discussion in the EU regarding the lifting of sanctions with Russia, this process is never easy and for our diplomacy and our public organizations and deputies. This factual material, which we have cited as to how Russia is not fulfilling its obligations under the Minsk. So I believe it will be extraordinary a catastrophic mistake for the West, deciding that it is possible to lift the sanctions without Russia fulfilled those conditions, for violation of which sanctions were imposed. I hope that such decisions are based on adequate assessment of threats to the national interests of each separate state,” said klympush-Tsintsadze.
