The Ukrainian government creates the Council for international trade, today was the appropriate decision. About it reported in a press-service of the Ministry of economic development and trade of Ukraine (MEDT)
Council for international trade will operate as an Advisory body, providing effective communication between the Cabinet and the business in four directions:
- simplification of trade procedures;
- the promotion of exports;
- development of strategies and implementation of state policy in the sphere of international trade;
- improving the system of customs-tariff regulation and trade remedies.
“The issue of international trade affect not only economic development, and many other Central authorities. Still, there was no single body for discussion and coordination. Now these functions will assume the Council for international trade and we hope that the results will not keep itself waiting ” – said the trade representative of Ukraine Nataliya Mykolska.
We will remind, today, on 4 July, the European Parliament (EP) voted for the proposal by the European Commission to provide Ukraine with additional trade preferences.
