The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine should broaden the base for environmental taxation due to the introduction of payments for transport. On Friday during the hour of questions to government in Parliament, said Minister of ecology and natural resources of Ostap, Semerak.
“I consider it appropriate to revisit the issue of broadening the base for environmental taxation due to the payment of such payment with mobile pollution sources, i.e. transportation”, — said Semerak.
According to him, the EU is the taxation of various types of engines and fuel.
Today in Ukraine 80% of air pollution by the private and municipal transport.
