The suspicion of the management of the operation in the village knyazhichi, Kiev region Brovary district, Kyiv region, during which a shootout occurred between law enforcement authorities, can expand on article 115 of the Criminal code (“murder”). This was stated by Prosecutor General Yury Lutsenko.
“It took us a number of investigative actions that allow us to talk about refining the suspicions of the leaders of this operation… they all now have official negligence that led to particularly serious consequences in the form of the dead. But after the examinations it can be updated, including presentation of article 115 (“Murder”), he said.
However, the attorney General added that the examination has not been completed.
Lutsenko also said that the house near which the shooting happened, was robbed after the robbers and police officers. “Now we have evidence that the house near where the shooting occurred, was robbed twice – once by the thieves and a second time by law enforcement officials”, – he said.
In addition, the attorney General added that the events investigated also during the arrest the robbers on the outskirts of Kiev.
