For modernization of pensions in Ukraine it is necessary to attract UAH 12 bn. This was during the presentation of the Pension reform in the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman.
“Where’s the money? We have an additional need in the Pension Fund this year of 11.2 billion UAH for modernization of pensions and nearly 800 million to improve social standards from 1 October. In the amount of 12 billion We have already secured this year’s revenues to the Pension Fund plus 7.9 billion, We expect to end the year at least 4 billion will go to the Pension Fund. That is, the means we have,” – said Groisman.
According to the estimates of the Premier, next year will need an additional 30 billion.
“We expect additional revenues, calculated in our budget will be 30 billion, which would be enough for us to do the updating and payment in 2018”, – said Groisman.
Recall, according to the Cabinet approved the draft Pension reform, pension in Ukraine will increaseand the retirement age will remain almost unchanged. At the same time, for some categories of Ukrainians will cancel the special conditions of retirement.
