For two years individuals taken out of the banking system of Ukraine USD 11 billion. This is evidenced by the preliminary results of work of banks in the year 2016, the available “Economic truth”.
So, according to the publication, by 1 January 2017 on the accounts of banks was 422,3 billion UAH of funds of natural persons (deposits – Ed.) against 399,8 billion hryvnia deposits of natural persons on January 1, 2016, and 422,7 bln hryvnia in January 1, 2015.
In terms of currency, the exchange rate on 1 January of the respective year, the volume of deposits fell from 26 billion dollars at the beginning of 2015, to 16.7 billion dollars at the beginning of 2016 and $ 15 billion at the beginning of this year.
Thus, in the currency equivalent over the two years of the banking system took 11 billion dollars of individuals. They were bred abroad, kept by the population at hand, and partly spent on current expenses or real estate.
The funds business in banks in UAH increased from 295 billion hryvnia in January 1, 2015, to 348 billion on January 1, 2016, and 409,3 billion on January 1, 2017.
In the currency equivalent of the figure on 1 January 2015 amounted to 18.75 billion dollars, 1 January 2016 – 14.5 billion dollars, and January 1, 2017 – $ 15 billion.
As reported, in January-September 2016 65 banks out of a hundred agencies received a total profit of 8.75 billion.
