The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko thanked Queen Margrethe II for the comprehensive support of Ukraine.
About it reports a press-service of the President on the basis of the audience, which took place during the official visit of the Ukrainian President to Denmark.
“The sides noted the high level of political dialogue and friendly relations between the two countries. The President thanked for the support of the Kingdom of Denmark of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine. Petro Poroshenko expressed the hope that Denmark will continue to participate in the implementation of humanitarian projects to support internally displaced persons in Ukraine who were victims of the Russian aggression”, – stated in the message.
The Queen of Denmark assured that Ukraine in the future can confidently rely on the solidarity and support of her state, said the press service.
The AP added that the President has invited Queen Margrethe II to visit Ukraine on a state visit at a convenient time.
As reported the press Secretary of the President, Poroshenko in Denmark also met with the speaker of Parliament.
