The Czech authorities have given permission for the transfer of Ukraine the exhumed remains of the poet and writer Oleksandr Oles. This was announced by the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.
“The Czech authorities have given permission to transfer to the Ukrainian party exhumed the remains of A. Oles. Prepare freight to Ukraine in the nearest future”, – he wrote in Twitter.

Help. Oles died in 1944. According to Czech law, after the burial, relatives or friends of the deceased should pay rent for a place in the cemetery in the amount of 20 thousand CZK for 10 years (approximately 20 thousand). According to the representatives of the Ukrainian community in the Czech Republic, until recently, the rent for the grave Olesya pay, on its own initiative, a citizen of the Czech Republic, a native of Ukraine Vladimir Mikhaylishin. He recently died, and his son Roman expressed his intention to bury his father in the grave Olesya.
On the morning of 3 January at the olšany cemetery the remains of Oles and his wife were forcibly exhumed and the grave buried Myhaylishyn.
The foreign Ministry of Ukraine reported that the remains of Oles and his wife moved to the Depository of the cemetery until the decision of the relatives about the place of final disposal.
The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko instructed the foreign Ministry to urgently intervene in the situation with the forced exhumation of the remains of Olesya in the Czech Republic.
