In Georgia, 26-28 March planned celebrations in honor of the introduction of visa-free regime with the countries of the European Union, reports the website of the Georgian government, the Correspondent.
Visa-free regime with the EU for citizens of Georgia will enter into force on 28 March – on the 20th day after the publication of the decision in the official journal of the EU.
Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Kvirikashvili declared that the day of the visa waiver he plans to go to Athens and then in Brussels in the company of students.
“Visa-free travel in member countries of the EU will come into force in a few days. As you know, the EU has completed the preparation of all relevant legal procedures. We will hold a special event on 26, 27 and 28 March, to celebrate this achievement the entire country,” – said Kvirikashvili.
Recall, the EU Council on 27 February finally approved a visa-free regime for Georgian citizens.
1 March in Brussels took place the ceremony of signing of the decision on the cancellation of their European Union visas for Georgian citizens.
March 8 in the Official journal of the European Union published a decision on the introduction of visa-free regime for Georgian citizens.
