Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman is on constantly due to the military and the rescue, and he flew to Kharkiv. About this he wrote in Facebook.
He noted that the main purpose of works on liquidation of consequences of explosions is the preservation of life is living close to other people.
“This morning received information about the explosions at the ammunition depot near Kharkov. In constant communication with the military leadership of the DSNS, the leadership of the state administration to co-ordinate measures to eliminate the emergency and evacuation of inhabitants of nearby settlements. Now move to the site. The main thing is to ensure the safety of citizens,” he wrote, Groisman.
We will remind, in the night of Thursday there were explosions at munitions depots, located not far from the city of Balakleya of Kharkov region, lit up the military base. The first information about the incident arrived about 3 o’clock in the morning. Explosions in warehouses continue in the morning of March 23.
According to the General staff, the reasons of incident are specified. At the same time, the chief military Prosecutor of Ukraine Anatoly Matios believes that the cause of the explosion could be a diversion.
