The blunders in the process of medical reform was caused by the lack of healthcare financing. This was stated by the Chairman of the parliamentary Committee of health, medical care and health insurance Michael radutskii.
“Let us remember that we have enshrined in law the figure of 5% of GDP on financing health services. In reality, even less at 2.9%. No country in the not reformed without money,” he said.

“NCSU was forced to consider a rate for services based on the principle that money for a little bit was enough for everyone. And got a problem when the cost of an outpatient package – 49 UAH for a patient and the exit brigade of emergency medical aid – 75 UAH”, – he said.
Earlier, health Minister Maksym Stepanov said that the audit showed that medifarma in its current form threatens catastrophic consequences for the Ukrainians.
