Profile Committee of the Parliament proposes to extend the ban on Russian social network

The resolution will make to Parliament

The Committee of the Verkhovna Rada concerning national security, defense and intelligence recommends the adoption of draft resolution No. 3319 on the extension of the ban on Russian social networks. This reports the press service of the Parliament.

“Was considered a draft resolution endorsing the proposals on the extension of the period of use of personal special economic and other restrictive measures (sanctions) No. 3319, the decision to recommend the Parliament to include the draft Resolution in the agenda of the third session of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the ninth legislature and to accept it as a basis and in whole”, – is spoken in the message.

Earlier, the head of the security Service of Ukraine Ivan Bakanov made to the Council of national security and defense of the proposal to extend the country’s ban on Russian social networks, websites and other computer programs.

As you know, in Ukraine, the Russian web-resources of “Vkontakte”, “Classmates” and Mail.ru are banned from 2017.
