To raise in Ukraine pension without the pension reform is impossible. This was stated by Prime Minister Vladimir Groisman during the “question Hour” in the Verkhovna Rada.
“Our pensions system is subsidized. The pension system deficit now amounts to 141 billion UAH. If you take a step to the increase of pensions right now, this deficit will be 200-250 billion. It will be a disaster,” – said Groisman.
According to him, if the Parliament will take the necessary time to reform the laws, pensions for millions of Ukrainians will rise from 1 October, as part of “modernizing” under the pension reform. In the framework of this reform fromvelichanie revenues to the pension system will occur due to the growth of the economy and legalization, the government plans.
Recall expects the Ministry of social policy, 4 years later, after reforming and stabilizing the pension system, along with a planned increase in pension provision will start the process of reducing the deficit of the Pension Fund.
Until the end of September the deputies of the Verkhovna Rada promised to adopt the law on pension reformproposed by the Cabinet and adopted in the first reading on July 13.
