The Russian foreign Ministry responded to the filing of the lawsuit Kiev against Moscow in the international Court of justice

The Russian foreign Ministry believe that the main goal of Ukraine is originally not a resolution of any dispute, and the search for a reason to appeal against the Russian Federation in the international Court of justice. This is stated in the statement of the Russian foreign Ministry in connection with the filing of the lawsuit Kiev against Moscow in the international Court of justice.

“The Russian Federation intends to use available remedies. More detailed comment can be given after a careful review of the procedural documents. The present review is without prejudice to any rights of the Russian Federation in the course of a possible investigation and cannot be considered as a waiver of any claims or objections available to the Russian Federation, including those concerning the Court’s jurisdiction or the admissibility of the claims of Ukrainian”, – said in a statement.

As reported, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has instructed the Ukrainian diplomats to convey already today a lawsuit in the international court of justice in the Hague concerning the violation by Russia of the UN Convention on countering the financing of terrorism and the Convention on the elimination of all forms of racial discrimination.
