The Minsk process need to reboot – David Cameron

Former Prime Minister of great Britain (2010-2016) David Cameron believes that the Minsk process is not yet operational, it is necessary to reboot. He stated this at the 14th annual meeting of the Yalta European strategy (YES), organized by the Victor Pinchuk Foundation.

“Britain and America a very important role played in the fact that in difficult times to help Ukraine. As events will develop further? “Minsk” is not working. We need to restart the Minsk process, it is necessary to achieve the withdrawal of heavy weapons, to return the Ukrainian control over the Ukrainian-Russian border”, – said ex-Prime Minister of great Britain.

Cameron added that, despite popular opinion, after holding a referendum on the UK exit from the European Union (the so-called Brexit) is the activity of intergovernmental contacts UK Ukraine increased.

“If we take Ukraine, after a referendum on Brexit, there were more meetings at the Ministerial level, more aid to Ukraine from Britain,” concluded Cameron.

Yalta European strategy (Yalta European Strategy, abbreviated as YES forum) is an annual conference organized by the Victor Pinchuk Foundation.
