The Ukrainian judicial system 60% full – Romaniuk

The judicial system of Ukraine are 60% full. Said the head of the Supreme court of Ukraine Yaroslav Romaniuk on Monday, July 7, transfers “RBC-Ukraine”.

“The courts are filled to only 60%, while 40% of the seats are vacant,” – said Romaniuk.

We will remind, by results of competition the new Supreme court will consist of judges by three quarters. If all 120 winners will be recommended to the President of Ukraine Supreme Council of justice to appoint, in every court of appeal – commercial, administrative, criminal and civil – will work for 30 judges.

A quarter of the new Supreme court is the contestants in respect of which the members of the High qualifications Commission of judges of Ukraine overcame a negative opinion of the Public Council of integrity.

Earlier the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko explained the uniqueness of the contest to the Supreme court.
