During the visit of President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko to Ukraine, contracts were signed worth about 50 million dollars. This was told by the Ambassador of Ukraine to Belarus Igor Kizim, reports “Commander in chief”.
“The results of the meeting of the presidents of Ukraine and Belarus 21 – July 22 of this year can be seen in some aspects. First of all, this economic bloc. During the visit was the business forum, and two days before a meeting of the intergovernmental Belarusian-Ukrainian Commission, during which were discussed specific outcomes and areas of work. There were signed contracts worth about $ 50 million,” – said Kizim.

In addition, the diplomat said that during the meeting, Poroshenko and Lukashenko were defined the main directions of cooperation between the countries.
“But even more important than the amount of contracts and areas of work. Defined in the final Protocol signed following the meeting of the Commission. Important areas of our cooperation is productive cooperation, energy, agriculture and petrochemical sector. There were also proposals to expand cooperation in the sphere of tourism”, – said Kizim.
