President Petro Poroshenko has appointed Lieutenant General Peter Chikala the head of the State border service.
“I am pleased to present the new Chairman of the State border service of Ukraine Lieutenant-General Peter Chikala. New boss aiming to strengthen border security, to stop those who are not good comes to us. And maintain comfortable conditions for citizens travelling in Europe without a visa, determined to eradicate corruption in the service”, – he wrote in Facebook.

Earlier it was reported that Viktor Nazarenko resigned from the post of head of the state border service.
