Groysman calls on Parliament to pass pension reform before the end of the session

Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman said that the international monetary Fund will support Ukraine until a proper economic growth. He said this after a meeting with the Board of Directors of the European Bank for reconstruction and development, transfers TV channel “112 Ukraine”.

“The IMF supports our macroeconomic stability as long as we will not be able to ensure economic growth at a proper level. With regard to tranche, we anticipate receiving it in 2017. We have a program of action, which involves the stabilization of our economy, the stabilization of public finances, they pay attention to it. Therefore, there is a General plan of action to move forward,” said the Prime Minister.

On pension reform, he noted that it should be adopted as soon as possible.

“Reform should be adopted as soon as possible, in the interests of the Ukrainian pensioners do not need to delay the time. Of course, there is parliamentary procedure, but we must reject populism and hostility and engage in a particular business”, he concluded.

Earlier Groisman reported that at the meeting of the Board of Directors of the EBRD raised the issue of financial support of Ukrainian business and the economy.
