The head of the Verkhovna Rada Andrew Parubiy believes that Ukraine will join NATO and will be able to ensure the safety of its territorial integrity against Russian aggression. This he said today at a press conference, the press service of the Parliament.

“Yes, NATO membership is an ambitious goal. But the Association agreement and a valid visa already proved that Ukraine has learned to succeed. For us nothing is impossible. And we will see the Ukrainian flag in front of the headquarters of NATO in Brussels,” – said paruby.

He cited the experience of former Soviet countries to join NATO, which are now safe.

“As the experience of post-Soviet countries in the conditions of Russian aggression only Euro-Atlantic collective security structures are an effective mechanism for the protection of national sovereignty and territorial integrity”, – said the speaker.
