SBU: Russian special services intended to undermine the office of the “Batkivshchyna”

The Kiev office of “Batkivshchyna” planned an attack using explosive devices, organized by the Russian special services. This was stated at a briefing the chief of Department of protection of national statehood of the security service of Ukraine Viktor Kononenko, reports Interfax-Ukraine.

According to him, those who had to implement it, are hiding in Russia.

“The SBU has received the operative information on intentions of the Russian special services to create in Ukraine an artificial environment for large-scale protests. To this end, individuals who are hiding in Russia from the Ukrainian justice, was tasked to organize an attack using explosive devices … at the office of all-Ukrainian Union “Batkivshchyna” in Kiev”, – said Kononenko.

As reported on June 16, employees of the security Service of Ukraine stopped in the Odessa region the creation of a secret network of Russian intelligence agencies from law enforcement officers.
