One of the main conditions for the organization of a meeting of the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and his us counterpart Donald trump was the fact that the US President did not have to make an official statement on Russian aggression in Ukraine, reports “Apostrophe” with reference to The Guardian.

As the newspaper notes, despite the prearranged the visit of Poroshenko in the United States, meeting with the President of the United States was negotiated on the eve of June 19, the parties managed to agree.

At the same time, according to the newspaper, the talks in such a format that Trump will not have to make an official statement on Russian aggression against Ukraine in 2014.

Before meeting with the trump of the Ukrainian leader will meet Vice-President Mike Pence, and then together they “will call” to the US President and his national security adviser Herbert McMaster.

According to the report, this format does not provide for statements of the leaders on the bilateral relations.
