The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine plans to allocate UAH 154 billion on road infrastructure in 2018-2020. This was stated by Finance Minister Alexander danyluk at the government meeting on Wednesday, June 14.
“We have planned a stable financing of road infrastructure. Three years on the road it is planned to allocate 154 billion UAH”, – he said, presenting mid-term budget resolution for 2018-2020.
According to him, new approaches to the budget will provide the funds.
“We understand that roads require large capital investments and approaches to the budget to allow these funds to provide,” said danyluk.
This year, the government intends to increase financing of road infrastructure in 3 times in comparison with the year 2016 – up to 30 billion UAH.
According to the “Ukravtodor”, the annual need for funding of roads in the country is estimated at least 60 billion UAH.
