Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman addressed with the requirement to finally resolve the issue with the garbage to the head of Lviv Andriy Sadovy. The Prime Minister believes that the mayor of the city doesn’t want to solve the problem, and only deals with the search for the guilty.
“I do not understand why so long to solve the problem with garbage in Lviv. I already refuse people because they don’t want their territory endlessly drove the garbage. Andrew, you know about it. And today to make me guilty that you can’t take out the trash and restore order in Ukraine – sorry, were you elected the mayor, not me” – addressed to garden Groisman during a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.
“The Memorandum signed with the specific rural communities – let’s go talk to them, ask. It is their sovereign decision. No, you need to Groysman picked up and started to bend over his knee local government, to kneel in front of the Garden. I’m not going to do that. I’ve met two or three times with people from Grabovica. But they have one problem – they say “We garden not believe.” Therefore, please don’t go extreme, and do it,” said the Prime Minister.
Also Volodymyr Groysman reminded that he was the mayor of Vinnitsa from 2006 to 2014-th year and he had exactly the same problem with the city garbage dump. At the same time without assistance from the state budget, he managed to create one of the best complexes on processing of garbage and removed all environmental and social issues.
“It was my responsibility and my challenge – and we are a local team coped. Andriy Sadovyy mayor for 11 years – 11 years it could build 15 of these landfills and processing plants. Today billions UAH on the accounts, he’s just not able to do it, apparently. Or capable, but does not want”, – said the Prime Minister.
