Today in Ukraine there will arrive the European Commissioner Johannes Hahn

Today in Ukraine there will arrive the European Union Commissioner for European neighbourhood policy and enlargement Johannes Hahn will meet with President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and Prime Minister Vladimir Groisman.

The press service of the EU delegation in Ukraine reported that on June 1-2, Hahn will visit Kyiv, Mariupol and Dnipro. It is noted that during the visit the European Commissioner will also meet with other Ukrainian Ministers and officials

How to transfer Agency “Interfax-Ukraine” with reference to the press service of the EU delegation in Ukraine, 1 Jun Han will meet with Deputy Prime Minister Ivanna klympush-Tsintsadze.

“Thursday, 1 June, European Commissioner Johannes Hahn and Vice-Prime Minister Ivanna klympush-Tsintsadze will launch anti-corruption initiative of the EU and will meet with the leaders of anti-corruption agencies and social organizations that are active in this field. In the afternoon, in the premises of the EU delegation in Ukraine, EU Commissioner Hahn will hold a press conference,” – said in the message.

In addition, on 2 June, the European Commissioner will participate in the Forum, which will take place in Mariupol. This forum is dedicated to the reconstruction and development of Donbass. Han will also visit the restored at the EU funds a medical clinic and a social hostel for internally displaced persons in Mariupol. The Commissioner will be accompanied by first Vice-speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Iryna Gerashchenko, Minister of foreign Affairs Pavlo Klimkin, the head of the Donetsk civil-military regional state administration Pavlo zhebrivskyi and the mayor of the city Vadim Boychenko.

The European Commissioner and Vice-Prime Minister of Ukraine, Minister of regional development, construction, housing and utilities Gennady Zubko will visit the Dnieper. Here they will open a regional Center of development of local self-government established with the support of the Program for Ukraine’s empowerment at the local level, accountability and development “U-LEAD with Europe.”
