MP of Ukraine, adviser to the Minister of internal Affairs Anton Gerashchenko believes that the former employee of SBU, which appears in the journalistic investigation about the murder of Pavel Sheremet, has nothing to do with the murder of a journalist. He said this to journalists.
“If a former employee of the SBU had to do with the murder Sheremet, did he twice interviews to journalists, he would come in for questioning, he was actually alive and was not in the territory of Ukraine if I was involved in the murder of Pavel Sheremet? I think it is extremely unlikely. This man gave his testimony to investigators, today it has the status of a witness, evidence that he is somehow involved in the murder of Pavel Sheremet, they are not” – said Gerashchenko.
He also noted that “if this man was somehow involved in the murder, who believe that this terrorist attack came up, they would not have left alive, it would be nonsense.”
Earlier, President Poroshenko said that the former employee of SBU, will be questioned on the murder Sheremet.
We will remind, the Minister of internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov said that one of the participants in the investigation of the murder of journalist Pavel Sheremet made a mistake that forces now to recheck all the material.
“There was a situation in which was made by one of the staff technical or, let’s say, other negligence which, in my opinion, everything is not significantly affected… but the presence of such negligence in one case out of almost 2 million, has forced us to completely rework the whole array again, testing each of the facts, and we are now doing that,” said Avakov.
