The European Union and the United States have a common stance on the conflict in the Donbass, told reporters the President of the European Council Donald Tusk after the meeting with the President of the United States Donald trump today in Brussels.
According to Tusk, during a meeting was the position agreed in many areas, and, first of all, it concerns the fight against terrorism.
“However, some questions remain open, such as climate and trade. And I’m not 100% sure that we – Mr. President and I can say today that we have a common position, the General opinion against Russia, while the conflict in Ukraine – I think we were on the same wavelength,” he said.
Previously, trump said that Russia must be held accountable for its actions in Crimea and the Donbass.
