The draft law on pension reform developed by the government, will be submitted to Parliament in June this year, before the parliamentary recess. This was stated by Minister of social policy Andrei Reva.
“The terms prescribed in the Memorandum till January 1, it (the adoption of pension reform. — Ed.) you need to do. I think in June a government bill will go to Parliament and we hope and this was said by the Prime Minister’s on holidays until July 15, the bill will be considered by the Verkhovna Rada,” said Reva.
We will remind, on may 17, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted the draft pension reform and submitted it to the Council reforms. According to the draft, pension in Ukraine will increaseand the retirement age will remain almost unchanged. At the same time for some categories of Ukrainians will cancel the special conditions of retirement.
May 16, arrived in Ukraine IMF mission, which intends to familiarize with the draft pension reform, which is a condition for receiving the IMF tranche in the framework of the Memorandum on cooperation. Representatives of the Fund will work in Kiev until may 25.
