While in power in Russia, Vladimir Putin, he will continue to carry out his master plan against Ukraine, military aggression, however, the new President of Russia could change everything and restore the selected areas of Donbass and occupied Crimea. This opinion was expressed in interview “” the former presidential adviser Andrei Illarionov.
“What’s he up to was, such and remained, anything Putin does not change. Is aggression. It’s just different. He continues to say that Ukraine is inefficient, the idle state that the regime committed “coup”, he once again repeated it (may 2 during a meeting with German Chancellor Angela Merkel in Sochi – ed.). Until then while in Ukraine, the ongoing economic crisis, it has an additional argument for this concept. He has a false notion, but, nevertheless, he says that there is no such nation as Ukrainian,” – said Illarionov.
He noted that the occupied territory of Donbass back to Ukraine, most likely, only after the change of power in Russia.
“In the long run it is much easier to say. They will return under the jurisdiction of Ukraine. When that happens, I can not say. I can say that it will not happen under the current government in the Kremlin. Then the first Executive Director of Russia, the first responsible statesman will restore Russian-Ukrainian border, which is recognized in accordance with international law”, – said the former adviser to Putin.
To the question, when Kiev will be able to return to the Crimea, Illarionov said, “Well, this is the territory of Ukraine. There are internationally recognized border between Ukraine and Russia, which passes through the Kerch Strait”.
As was stated by the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, even speech cannot be about to give the Donbass to Russia, even if someone thinks that he no longer needed the country. He criticized those people who are supporters “to abandon the Donbass and to wall itself off”.
