Early elections in Austria are scheduled for October 15

Early parliamentary elections in Austria are scheduled for October 15, said on Tuesday the German magazine “der Spiegel” with reference to the representative of the Austrian liberal party NEOS.

According to him, the leaders of all factions of the Austrian Parliament have agreed on this date.

Elections were to be held in the fall of 2018, however, with the proposal to hold long-term election was made by the Austrian foreign Minister Sebastian Kurz after the recent collapse of the ruling coalition of the Social democratic party of Austria (SDHP) and the Austrian people’s party övp.

In this case, before Kurtz became the leader of the ANP, and initiated the collapse of the coalition, explaining this step by mutual distrust.
