Savchenko wrote a letter to the Macron: “Please strengthen sanctions against Russia”

The people’s Deputy Nadezhda Savchenko wrote a letter to the new President of France Emmanuel macron, the, asking for his support for Ukraine. The corresponding letter is posted on his page in Facebook.

“I want to personally Express my respect and gratitude to your people for their consistent and unequivocal support of Ukraine, especially in difficult times for our country during the Russian-Ukrainian war. I take this opportunity to congratulate you on your victory in the presidential election in France. I’m sure your political moves, and the position will bring immediate positive results,” wrote Savchenko.

She asked in his letter Macron to support the territorial integrity of Ukraine.

“I appeal to you with request to maintain and even strengthen sanctions against the aggressor country, the Russian Federation, because the government of this country understands only force and determination. Strengthening of international, technical and military support for Ukraine will help the European Union countries to stop and to restrain the intervention of the Russian authorities in the domestic and foreign policies of neighboring States. It will make Europe stronger. Also ask for more decisive actions of French politicians regarding the release of Ukrainian hostages from the prisons in Russia”, – said the MP.
