Groysman told about the next step after the reform of the PAYG pension system

Developed a “road map” provides that after the reform of the current joint system, go directly to the formation of the funded, said Prime Minister of Ukraine Vladimir Groisman.

The Prime Minister noted that the formation of the cumulative pension system will be the next step immediately after reforming the joint system.

Groisman also said that it is important that in September the Parliament adopted a pension reform. This, according to him, will allow to increase pensions to 9 million Ukrainian citizens from 1 October 2017.

Recall, the Verkhovna Rada in the first reading adopted the draft law on pension reform. Before the holidays, as foreseen in the Memorandum with the IMF, to adopt the document have failed. In September, the plan in the government, the Parliament adopts the document as a whole and in October will host the first stage of the “modernization” of pensions.
