The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu agreed to complete before the end of the year negotiations on free trade zone between the countries. It is reported by the Administration of the President on the results of telephone negotiations of leaders of two countries.
“The parties separately confirmed willingness to complete by the end of 2017, the negotiations on signing the Agreement on free trade zone between Ukraine and Israel,” the message reads.
As noted, the two leaders discussed urgent issues of interaction within international organizations. In particular, Benjamin Netanyahu expressed sincere gratitude for the constructive and friendly the position of Ukraine in the framework of the UN.
“The sides discussed issues of content of the may visit of Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman to the State of Israel. Emphasized the importance of further expansion of bilateral economic and trade cooperation”, – stated in the message.
Earlier it was reported that the Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman will arrive in Jerusalem on may 14 for a meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. This should be the end of the crisis, which began six months ago for anti-Israel vote Ukraine to the UN.
