Hockey match between national teams Ukraine – Poland in the framework of the ice hockey world championship in division 1A, which takes place in Kiev was watched by over 8 million viewers. On 24 April, during the press-conference devoted to the beginning of the championship, said the Vice-President of Federation of hockey of Ukraine Georgy Zubko.
Georgy Zubko spoke about the high level of interest in hockey superiority on the part of the audience in the first two days of the championship. “On the first day of the championship was attended by around 10,000 fans. On the first game of the first day of the championship between the national teams of Ukraine and Hungary tribunes of sports Palace was filled to more than 80 %. In the matches of other teams – about 50%, ” – said Vice-President of Federation of hockey of Ukraine.
In addition, according to Georgy Zubko, the matches of the hockey championship has received high television ratings. In particular, the first match of Ukraine national team against the team of Hungary had been viewed more than 7 million viewers, and the second game of our team with Polish players – more than 8 million
Present at the press conference speakers noted the high level of organization of the world hockey championship in Ukraine, to ensure the safety and comfort of the sports event. In particular, member of the Board of the International Federation of hockey Sergey Goncharov said: “the Organization of the ice hockey world championship in division 1A in Ukraine is at a high level. In Kiev, created all conditions for quality matches and their comfortable viewing”.
