Countries that enter the Commonwealth of independent States (CIS), are potential targets of terrorist attacks. This was stated by the President of Russia Vladimir Putin at a meeting with heads of security agencies of CIS countries, Russian media reported.
“We see the situation (the fight against terrorism. – Ed.) unfortunately, not improving. And the best evidence of this is the recent tragic events in Saint-Petersburg. The terrorist attack killed people, a lot of victims… We know that each of our countries, virtually every is possible, a potential target of terrorist attacks. There are many other threats to our countries”, – Putin said.
Earlier in the Kremlin said that the attack in St. Petersburg during Putin’s visit makes one wonder.
