Portuguese Parliament recognized the Holodomor as genocide of the Ukrainian people

The Parliament of Portugal recognized the Holodomor of 1932-33 in Ukraine as genocide of the Ukrainian people. This was announced by the head of the Union of Ukrainians in Portugal, Pavlo Sadokha on his page in Facebook, transfers TV channel “112 Ukraine”.

Sadokha has published the decision of the Portuguese Parliament on the Holodomor in Ukraine.

According to local edition of NoticiasAoMinuto adopted a document condemning the Holodomor in Ukraine in 1932-33 and recognizes his genocide by the “totalitarian Communist regime of Stalin, which led to the deaths of about seven million of Ukrainian citizens”.

In Ukraine, the Holodomor of 1932-1933 as genocide of the Ukrainian people, organized by the leadership of the CPSU(b) and the government of the USSR in 1932-1933 by creating artificial mass starvation that led to millions of human casualties in rural areas on the territory of the Ukrainian SSR and the Kuban region, the vast majority of the population were Ukrainians.

The Holodomor in Ukraine of 1932-1933 officially recognized as genocide of the Ukrainian people the following countries: Australia, Georgia, Ecuador, Estonia, Canada, Colombia, Latvia, Lithuania, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, Poland, and Hungary. Some States have condemned the Holodomor as an act of destruction of mankind in a formal appeal, it is the countries of: Andorra, Argentina, Brazil, Vatican, Spain, Italy, Slovakia, USA, Czech Republic, Chile.
