The Ministry of Finance paid the coupon yield on the 9 series of government bonds, the total amount of the payment is 505,429 million US dollars.
The Ministry of Finance of Ukraine carried out payment of the coupon income in the amount of 505,429 million dollars on bonds of external state loan 2015 release, according to the website of the Ministry.
“March 1, 2017 the Ministry of Finance paid the coupon yield on the 9 series of government bonds issued by the government in November 2015 as part of the ongoing debt transactions with state and state-guaranteed debt. The total amount of coupon payment as of March 1 is 505,429 million dollars”, – stated in the message.
As reported, in October 2015, the holders 13 of the 14 editions of the sovereign and government-guaranteed Eurobonds for a total of 14.36 billion dollars and 0.6 billion euros were supported by their restructuring.
New sovereign Eurobonds were issued on 12 November 2015 for a total amount of 11.95 billion due in 2019-2027 years at 7.75% per annum, and the state derivatives of 2.92 billion dollars.
Interest income is accrued and paid twice a year – March 1 and September 1, commencing March 1, 2016.
