In the European Union say that Russia’s recognition of the documents of the so-called “LNR” and “DNR” does not correspond to the Minsk agreements and they will not be recognized within the EU. This was stated by the speaker of the EU high representative for foreign Affairs and security policy Federica Mogherini Maya Kosyanchich.
According to her, during the meeting, Mogherini, Minister of foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Lavrov in Munich discussed the presidential decree on the recognition on the territory of Russia “documents” issued in certain districts of Donetsk and Lugansk regions of Ukraine (ORDA).
“The decree is not consistent with the spirit of the Minsk agreements. The EU remains unwavering in its support for the territorial integrity, sovereignty and unity of Ukraine and full implementation of the Minsk agreements,” – said Kosyanchich.
The speaker also stressed: “travel documents issued by the so-called “DNR” and “LNR”, in the framework of the European Union will not be recognized”.
