Passenger traffic by air transport in Ukraine is growing rapidly. Overall for 2016, and increased by 36.6% and in the fourth quarter of 55.9%. And in the new year the aviation industry promises to set a new record in passenger traffic, writes “Business capital”.

This increase was not some sudden reason. Just increased effective demand for services of air transport on the part of Ukrainians, and airlines, for its part, has lured passengers increasingly diverse and great offers. Impressive quarterly dynamics of passenger turnover of the Ukrainian aviation: the first quarter — an increase of 18.8% compared to the same quarter of 2015, second quarter — by 28.2% in the third quarter against 39.2%, in IV quarter — on 55.9 per cent. It can be expected that in 2017 will be too high growth rates. The popularity of European destinations should contribute to the introduction of visa-free regime with the EU. But the intention of BONDS to raise fares, of course, was negatively met by the domestic producers. The Minister of infrastructure Vladimir Omelian saidthat “any increase in tariffs must be reasonable and be carried out only after the “Ukrzaliznytsia” will show the effectiveness of anti-corruption measures, the implementation of the reforms, explain the tariff structure”. Increase of tariffs for passengers, he also called “very sensitive” issue.
