MEP, Rapporteur visa liberalisation for Ukraine Mariya Gabriel called on the presidency of the European Union Malta to provide Ukrainians visa-free regime.
As reported, the statement during the plenary session of the European Parliament in Strasbourg, she addressed the Prime Minister of this country Joseph Muscat as part of the discussion priorities of Malta’s capital city Valletta.
“With regard to foreign policy – our future is linked to the future of our neighbors. We must continue to work on resolving the crisis… I call on the Maltese presidency to liberalise the visa regime for Ukraine. The European Parliament has done their part, now it must make the Council,” said Gabriel.
We will remind, Liechtenstein promises to introduce “bezviz” Ukrainians immediately after the EU.
