Russian President Vladimir Putin should order his troops and the Kremlin-backed local fighters in Donbas to cease fire. This was stated by President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko during the opening ceremony of the building of Lugansk regional academic music and drama theatre after major overhaul in the city, UNIAN reports.
He noted that the Russian leader should publicly support the truce in the East of Ukraine.
“We will do everything possible to in the Donbass stopped shooting. The delay only due to the fact that the Russian President refuses from public support of the truce and, therefore, on the direct orders of the Russian military and the militants that are present in the occupied territory, stop the shooting”, – said Poroshenko.

According to him, it is important that the leaders of “Norman Quartet” and Putin himself has called for a cease-fire publicly.
We will remind, yesterday a telephone conversation between the leaders of the “Normandy Quartet”. The negotiators supported the ceasefire in the Donbass in connection with the beginning of the school year.
